Greg Savage Speaking Tour. Back in the UK.
After the outstanding success of my November 2013 speaking gigs in the UK (he said, modestly), I am delighted to be invited back, by REC this time, for the ‘Business Brains’ Masterclass.
The topic is ‘Remake. Remodel. Future Proof Recruitment’, in Manchester (3rd April) and London (4th April).
In this Masterclass I will cover:
- What obstacles will recruiters face in 2014 and beyond? Will proven business models work again in the future? How will agencies maintain their edge in accessing talent? How do we navigate the rapidly changing requirements and behaviour of candidates and clients?
- What type of recruiters will thrive, what skills are needed, and how should they be managed?
- And what about the old skills? Are they still important? Sophisticated, modern recruiting skills will be shared in detail, ready for immediate application on your desk.
Takeaways from this session include:
- What clients are thinking globally and now want from our industry
- Threats and trends that could destroy the “Old School” recruiters
- “The Reinvention of Everything” and what that means for recruiters
- Skills shortages. The real hiring challenge
- What Social Media really means for recruiters
- Your current business model is broken! How will you fix it?
- Changing behaviour and attitudes of candidates
- Why it is time to change our definition of “candidate”
- Technology vs. human skills. Which wins?
- The ‘craft’ or recruitment. Still valid?
- The critical new era skill – E-Sourcing
- Job Boards? LinkedIn? Are you sure?
- The online staffing threat and how to deal with it
I have presented some of this Masterclass in the UK already, as well as Australia, NZ, South Africa, and Asia, and I have to say it’s been very well received. Everywhere.
I would love to see my UK followers, friends (and critics!) there.
