Hi Greg What's your view on how the Big Biller Summit markets itself? The website, the sign-up page and what happens after you register all looks quite cheap, cheesy and spammy to me - which are not concepts I normally associate with you.

    I have to admit I have not given it a great deal of thought Mitch, although I do agree that the site could be a bit more polished. Nor have I actually been through the sign up process. The Summit is not my enterprise, I am sure you appreciate. I was asked to contribute a session, and I did. One of 16 speakers I believe. I think the content is what is key however, and I am hoping that the caliber of the speakers is top notch. I certainly gave my best in the hour I was allotted! :) Cheers Greg

I'm sure you did, Greg. To be honest, you're participation was the only reason I bothered to sign-up for it. Much of it looks like the same old hackneyed "think like a millionaire' mind-spin driven training we've all seen too many times before.

Whilst Iagree with your comments about Gregs material Mitch, you cant always judge a book by its cover, no matter how self promoting some of this material may be (or not) I always gain another perspective from listening to such presentations. My comment would be that the pricing models dont match those in Australasia, and the metrics quoted may be different but hey apply the learnings and test and measure and develop your own metrics.

Hi Greg, Interesting reading as usual! Well you can tell your readers and followers that you know a guy who has just turned 67 (5/10/11) Been a recruiter for 35 years (04/01/76) and been at TEAM Executive Consultants (South Yarra) for 13 years (15/10/98). No intention of retiring! Love the job and love the people. Why? because todays candidates are tomorrow's clients. NEVER QUIT!
